あけおめ！！

Welp, another year gone by. The thing about holidays, new years and what not, is that they're anti-climatic, and then there's pretty much nothing when it's over. But 2012 really flew by, like all the other years before it.

 

I stopped getting Christmas gifts many years ago, so when I got a package from my friend Jenelle, I was super excited. Gifts are cool but gifts are great when the giver knows your taste, hehe( ´艸｀)

I got a cute penguin plushie, a scented strawberry cupcake necklace with a recipe for strawberry shortcake cupcakes, a mango Burt Bee's lipbalm and the best of them all: earrings she made and a book on Japanese goth aesthetic! ♥

The book is really nice; I've always wanted to know the names of the artists who make such beautiful illustrations and now I know. What I like about the book is that it's also short and sweet; just the right amount of photos covering each of the basic fundamentals.
